It was his right arm (our left) that got the wee boo-boo. Okay, perhaps not so wee, and he did take it better than most of us probably would... after all, try climbing up jungle vines with only your feet and your good arm. I doubt it is easy.

Trivia Question: 01/05/2016
In the Disney movie Tarzan, on which of Tarzan's arms did Clayton manage to shoot him? Thankfully for him it seems to either just have grazed him or perhaps it went clean through.
